St. John, OCSRI Kick Off Relay for Life Campaign

TULSA, OKLA. (Feb. 7, 2018) — St. John Health System and Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute (OCSRI), St. John’s partner in cancer care, sponsor and participate in Relay for Life events in communities we serve. In addition, we raise funds for the American Cancer Society through our annual Relay for Life campaign.

Below is information about the 2018 campaign, which runs Feb. 7 through June 15 to align with the American Cancer Society’s community-wide Relay for Life of Tulsa Metro fundraising campaign.

Food Truck Fundraisers

As fundraisers for the 2018 campaign, St. John Medical Center will host Food Truck Fundraisers on Feb. 20, April 17 and May 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. A variety of local food trucks will line the pathway between the Herman G. Kaiser Medical Building and Mary K. Chapman Health Plaza to serve fresh lunch options. One dollar from every order will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Vendors for the Tuesday, Feb. 20, event will include Andolini’s Pizzeria, Bacon Oklahoma, Coffee House on Your Street, Hot Diggity Dog, Hot Mess BBQ, Jay’s Original Hoagies, Mr. Nice Guys, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Purple People Feeder and Taqueria El Jarocho. Food Truck Fundraisers are open to the public. Free parking is available throughout campus, but it is recommended to turn east onto 19th Street from Utica Avenue and park in the parkade to the left.
