St. John Broken Arrow was awarded a five-star rating, the highest achievement level possible, from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Of the more than 4,500 hospitals evaluated nationwide by CMS, only 293 received a five-star rating, the highest overall quality score.

The hospital rating summarizes a variety of measures across seven areas of quality – including safety of care, effectiveness of care, and patient experience – into a single star rating for each hospital.

“This is truly an outstanding achievement and a testament of our dedication to providing high quality and compassionate care to every patient we have the privilege to serve,” said David Phillips, St. John Broken Arrow’s president and chief operating officer. “I congratulate our team of nurses, physicians and staff for their diligent work in delivering top care to our community.”
