SJBA to Host Free Seminar on Total Hip Replacement
TULSA, OKLA. (March 15, 2018) — St. John Broken Arrow will host a free seminar on a minimally invasive approach to total hip replacement Thursday, April 12, from 6-7 p.m. If medication and physical therapy have not helped your hip pain or range of motion, your doctor may recommend a total hip replacement. J. Scott Reid, MD, will discuss the "direct superior approach" to this procedure, which is less invasive than other approaches and can result in less muscle and tissue damage.
The seminar will be in Room 145 of the St. John Broken Arrow Medical Office Building, 800 W. Boise Circle. Refreshments will be provided, courtesy of Prairie House Assisted Living & Memory Care. The seminar is free, but registration is required. Call the St. John PulseLine at 918-215-3410 to register or for more information.
