Wellness Connection to Offer Super Saturday: Optimal Alignment for Optimal Movement on Sept. 29


Join Jane Phillips Wellness Connection staff at 9 a.m. on Sept. 29, for “Super Saturday: Optimal Alignment for Optimal Movement” in the group exercise studio in the lower level of Jane Phillips Medical Center.  An exercise physiologist will help you evaluate your posture, discover how current movement patterns impact your body over the long term, and learn how an exercise program could help relieve pain and prevent injury.

We’re often not privy to how the activities we’re engaging in on a regular basis can lead to pain problems. How often do people get injured doing a simple movement they’ve done hundreds of times before? Maybe it’s happened to you. The way we carry ourselves and perform activities consistently, can impact our bodies causing an area to tighten, weaken, strengthen, or strain and this then leads to a problem later.  That’s why posture education and assessments are important.
