Jane Phillips Medical Center Fundraiser On September 15: Glitz Goes To The Movies
The Bluestem Medical Foundation will be going to the movies for its annual fundraising dinner and live auction. Join us for a night of glitz, glamour, and red carpet fun during the 27th annual Glitz event on Friday, September 15 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Country Club in Bartlesville. The Foundation, which supports the mission of Jane Phillips Medical Center, hosts the annual fund-raiser for the hospital’s continuing staff education and training program.
“We are proud to be one of the longest running charitable events in the area,” said Bluestem Foundation executive director Mike Wilt. “And one of the reasons the Glitz is always such a fun event is that our attendees really get into the spirit of the theme.”
JPMC has benefited from the proceeds of the Glitz events for over a quarter century. The funds raised have made available training and educational opportunities beyond the operations budget of the hospital. The result has been significant as hospital employees have been able to maintain and increase their high level of skills and abilities, including those who provide patient care. “Phillips 66, ConocoPhillips, and the Jane Phillips medical staff are the principle sponsors of our annual event and we are most grateful for their support of our hospital and for their investment in our community’s healthcare,” Wilt said.
A companion event to the dinner is the annual Glitz Open Golf Tournament at Adams Golf Course on Thursday, September 21. The Glitz Open consists of two rounds at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., with lunch in between.
