Join Jane Phillips Medical Center For The Heart 5K And Fun Walk May 13

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (April 10, 2017) — Jane Phillips Medical Center is inviting the community help fight the number one killer in Washington/Osage County by participating in the 2017 Community Heart 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 13.

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (April 10, 2017) — Jane Phillips Medical Center is inviting the community help fight the number one killer in Washington/Osage County by participating in the 2017 Community Heart 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 13.

The event will be held at the BlueStem Cardiology building on the campus of Jane Phillips. Registration begins at 8 a.m. The 5K run begins at 9 a.m. and the 1-mile fun run/walk will begin shortly thereafter. An awards ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Medals will be given to first, second, and third place winners in the men’s and women’s divisions. Top fundraising teams will also be recognized.

Individuals and company teams alike are invited to take part in this event by having a walking team, running team, or a team that just wants to come out and support cardiovascular care in Bartlesville.

Some participants are survivors of heart disease or stroke and many participants run or walk in honor of or in memory of a friend or family member.

Cost for the 5K run is a $25 or more donation per person and includes a race t-shirt if paid by April 28. If you would like to register as a runner, please email Ladona Harrison or call 918/331-1431.
