Eat Wings, Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Awareness
Jane Phillips Medical Center will again team up with a local restaurant for a breast cancer awareness fundraiser next month. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to assist the hospital with its efforts, Buffalo Wild Wings has agreed to donate 15 percent of its food and beverage sales on Friday, October 9. Proceeds will be given to the Bluestem Medical Foundation, which supports the mission of JPMC.
"We are very excited to have Buffalo Wild Wings join our efforts to inform and educate area residents about breast cancer,” said Mike Wilt, foundation executive director. “We are genuinely grateful for their interest and their generosity.”
A JPMC mammographer will be on site to present information and answer questions.
Buffalo Wild Wings is located in Washington Park Mall at Highway 75 and Price Road in Bartlesville. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 1:30 a.m.
