New Diagnostic Imaging Technology
Jane Phillips Medical Center has upgraded a series of X-ray technologies for enhanced diagnostic imaging. JPMC is currently using a complete overhead general X-ray suite. Fujifilm’s FDR D-EVO Suite II offers a myriad of benefits for patients and physicians.
“Fujifilm’s innovative solutions are designed to help radiology professionals, provide critical digital X-rays with innovations that lower dose, and enhance image quality,” said Rob Fabrizio, director of marketing and product development, Digital X-Ray, FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc. “We also recognize that patient comfort, reliability, and ease of use are vitally important to the quality of patient care.”
The X-ray suite is designed to provide technologists with convenient, simplified control of the system while staying close to the patient on the table or at the chest stand.
JPMC Diagnostic Imaging Manager Bob Walker said two portable Fujifilm X-ray units have also been added.
“This brings the hospital to Digital Radiography technology in all of the X-ray rooms,” Walker said. “This project also upgraded the Computer Radiography currently in used at JP Outpatient Imaging and JP Medical Park Radiology to the latest Fuji hardware and software and has added improved image quality to both of these locations.
