Giving Tuesday: How Will You Give?

TULSA, OKLA. (Nov. 28, 2016) — You had Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Today, join us in #GivingTuesday on November 29, a national initiative to inspire individuals to give back to their communities. We invite you to join the movement: give your time as a St. John volunteer or consider making a donation to the St. John Health System Foundation. Gifts to the Foundation enable us to expand existing services and add important new programs, such as providing health services in underserved communities. How will you give on this #GivingTuesday?

Give your time:

Since 1951, St. John Auxiliary members have shared the values of compassion, service and reverence for human dignity. As St. John Health System expands to meet the needs of eastern Oklahoma, our Auxiliary has increased its volunteer services to serve as support, and we encourage you to consider joining our volunteer team. Whether providing directions to visitors, running the register at the gift shop, or spending time with a patient, St. John volunteers take pride in impacting the lives of others in a positive way.

Give financially:

The St. John Health System Foundation provides financial support for the operation and continued growth of St. John. Each year, the Foundation receives many grants, contributions, donations and gifts supporting the work of St. John. Gifts to the Foundation enable the health system to expand existing services and add important new programs. In recent years, Foundation funds have helped build and equip a new pediatric intensive care unit, open a kidney dialysis center in an underserved part of town, and expand our pre-admission testing lab.

The St. John Health System Foundation offers many ways to give. Your gift may be undesignated, meaning the Foundation may use it for a project of its choosing at St. John. Or, you may designate your gift for use in particular departments.
