Stories Requested for 108 Contemporary Heart Awareness Exhibit
Tulsa, Okla. (May 20, 2015) - Are you or someone you know a woman who has been affected by cardiovascular disease? St. John Health System is pleased to partner with 108 Contemporary for Matters of Dis-Ease, an art exhibit of red dresses meant to bring attention to women’s cardiovascular disease. The artist, Susan Taber Avila, is collecting brief personal stories to include in the exhibit, held August 7-September 20 at 108 Contemporary in Tulsa's Brady Arts District. Each story will be placed on a garment hang tag and attached to one of the 365 red dresses.
Please take a moment to share one or more brief stories using the form at the below link. If you have more than one story to share, please use a separate form submission for each woman’s story. The story can be about you, a family member or a friend, and all submissions are anonymous.
The story should be a maximum of 2-3 sentences, about 100 words or less. They are organized into three categories:
- In Memoriam
- Living with Heart Disease
- Women with Heart
