St. John Offers Chronic Pain Support Group
April 24, 2015 — Chronic Pain Anonymous is a faith-based, 12-step program for people who live with chronic pain or chronic illness. The national program was designed to bring together communities and provide an open forum for attendees to solve common issues and share ways to deal with the life-changing effects of chronic pain or chronic illness. Chronic Pain Anonymous aims to give people a sense of hope and strength, allowing them to improve their quality of life.
Sponsored by the St. John Neuroscience Institute, the Tulsa-area group meets every Saturday from 3-4 p.m. in the Newman Room on the first floor of the Mary K. Chapman Health Plaza, 1819 E. 19th St., on the St. John Medical Center campus. Meetings are free to attend, and registration is not required.
