Complete Flu Information

Flu Resources

As a part of our commitment to your health and public health issues, St. John has assembled this page as a source of current information regarding the H1N1 and novel flu strains, as well as advice on how you can protect yourself and your family from infection.  We are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of all our employees, patients and their families and will continue to update this information to keep you informed.

As a reminder, persons with flu-like symptoms are advised to stay home from work or school to avoid spreading infections to others.  St. John requests that anyone who is experiencing flu-like symptoms and plans to visit a patient to please stay away from the hospital until they feel better and have been free of symptoms for 48 hours. This will help to minimize the risk to patients, staff and other visitors.

In addition, frequent hand-washing and cough etiquette can lessen the spread of respiratory illness. Click HERE to view proper cough etiquette.  You can help stop the spread of germs that make you and others sick!
