St. John Prepares to Host 21st Annual Street Party
Funds to benefit St. John Health System and St. John Clinic development of patient-centered medical care teams for our communities
Tulsa, Okla., May 22, 2014 – St. John Health System’s largest fundraising party and one of Tulsa's largest outdoor fundraising events will will be held June 7, 2014 on the campus of St. John Medical Center. The event honors St. John Medical Center’s 88 years of healthcare service while benefiting St. John Health System and St. John Clinic’s development of multidisciplinary teams to provide consistent and coordinated patient-centered medical care for our communities.
Past beneficiaries of St. John Street Party include In His Image Family Medicine Residency training program, St. John Nursing, the Neuroscience Institute and Stroke Center, the Center for Women’s Health and others, all selected to help build a stronger community through improved medical care.
In addition to fund-raising for important St. John programs and initiatives, St. John Street Party serves as a valuable “friend-raiser” to inform party guests and the communities about programs and services available through St. John Health System.
Street Party 2014 will feature foods from more than 60 of Tulsa's best restaurants and caterers, as well as a collection of wine-tasting opportunities. St. John will also bring back the ever-popular Mid Life Crisis Band to entertain patrons throughout the evening.
Event chairs are Jenny and Jono Helmerich. Street Party is hosted by the St. John Health System Foundation.
