Green Fest 2012

Green Fest coming April 11

Eco-friendly transportation will be center stage at St. John Medical Center’s fourth annual Green Fest on April 11.

Fuel-saving rides like the Chevy Volt, Smart Fortwo, Toyota Prius, Fisker Karma and a pair of scooters named Buddy and Stella will stretch along the walkway west of the St. John Mary K. Chapman Health Plaza, 1819 E. 19th Street. Inside the Health Plaza, 19 earth-friendly exhibitors, an art show, door prizes, and an eco-lunch selection at the Health Plaza Deli will be available for those looking for a greener lifestyle.

Since the first event in 2009, Green Fest, hosted by the St. John Green Team, has given employees and visitors insights and accessibility to Tulsa’s many green efforts, from information on recycling and reuse to free sapling trees and plants.
