Mammography is a specific type of breast imaging that uses low-dose x-rays to detect breast cancer before women experience symptoms, which is when it is most treatable.
It is our desire to help women and save lives by using gold standard mammography. Our technologists are highly qualified and ready to serve you in the most comfortable and timely manner possible. Women who want or need a screening mammogram can call our Central Scheduling department at 918-856-5789, or your doctor’s office can schedule. Most medical insurances pay for a yearly mammogram, but if you have any insurance questions, please call your insurance company.
The St. John Sapulpa mammography department is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Our general X-ray is equipped with 2 exam rooms, which provides for quicker service. Our staff consists of ARRT Registered Technologists who are highly qualified to perform diagnostic x-rays.
We gladly accept any walk-in patient 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Computed Tomography (C.T.) is a highly valuable diagnostic test that uses special x-ray equipment to detect a wide range of diseases and conditions. C.T. scans are fast, painless and highly accurate. During a C.T. scan a thin x-ray beam rotates around the patient generating 3-D images of the internal structures.
Our outpatient C.T. services are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
We also accept same-day appointments for added convenience.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (M.R.I.) incorporates a strong magnetic field with radio frequency pulses to create a very detailed image of the human body. M.R.I. can be used to diagnose many conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Brain Tumors, Torn Ligaments, Cancer, Strokes, and many spinal abnormalities.
Our M.R.I. is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The staff technologist is nationally registered and certified in M.R.I. through ARRT to ensure quality exams are performed.
Ultrasound, Doppler Ultrasound, & Echocardiograms
Ultrasound uses sound waves to examine internal body structures to detect abnormalities without the usage of radiation. Ultrasound is used in many different aspects such as: general ultrasound, vascular, OB, gynecology, soft tissue, and echocardiograms.
Our ultrasound technologists are experienced, certified, and board registered. Ultrasound is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you would like to schedule an exam, please call our Central Scheduling department at 918-856-5789. We also gladly accept same-day appointments for added convenience.
All exams performed at St. John Sapulpa are reviewed by board-certified radiologists. All outpatient exams are generally reviewed by the radiologist within 48 hours. The final report for your exam will be sent directly to your ordering doctor.
