Maternity and Childbirth Classes
Jane Phillips Medical Center works hard to provide expecting parents with the resources and education they need to be well prepared for their little one's arrival. We are proud to offer the following courses in maternal and childbirth education to our community.

Childbirth Education Classes
The hospital offers two consecutive Tuesday evening classes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday classes from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Classes cover:

  • “The Amazing Journey.”Here comes labor/tour of family services unit.
  • “Survivor.”Techniques to survive labor and delivery.
  • “Dancing with the Star.” All about baby care.
  • “Got Milk?” Breastfeeding night.

We recommend you arrange for registration to this class during your seventh month of pregnancy. 
The classes are free.

Brahms’ Lullaby
When you hear your newborn's first cry, listen for the sweet lullaby. Brahms’ Lullaby is played throughout the hospital in celebration of each new little miracle born at Jane Phillips Medical Center.
