St John Medical Center will offer its annual KidSitters baby-sitting education program this summer for individuals 11 to 16 years of age.
KidSitters provides safety-focused babysitting skills, and includes infant and child CPR, basic infant care, appropriate play and first aid techniques. The course includes a tour of St. John's Chapman Development Learning Center (employee childcare program), puppet-making, relays, skits, and games taught by St. John nurses. A group lunch is provided, and each participant will receive a KidSitters t-shirt.
The eight-hour program ideal for older siblings, scout troops, church youth groups, or for summer camp day events. Cost to participate is $40 per individual. A discounted rate is available for groups of 10 more more.
