St. John LaFortune Cancer Center has the tools to help you fight cancer. We combine state-of-the-art technology with the expertise of some of the region’s best oncologists.
St. John Medical Center is a certified member of MD Anderson Cancer Network®. The exclusive collaboration gives the LaFortune Cancer Center access to disease-specific and evidence-based clinical guidelines, treatment plans and best practices developed by MD Anderson.
Known for diagnostic and therapeutic care, the LaFortune Cancer Center provides a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of benign and malignant tumors and hematology disorders. Options include radiation therapy with CyberKnife® or TomoTherapy®, chemotherapy, biological therapy and immunotherapy. Most services are offered in an outpatient setting.
Our highly skilled team of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, physicists, therapists and trained technicians will walk with you every step of the way through your cancer treatment.
The LaFortune Cancer Center also offers a resource center and classes to answer your questions. A host of support groups will give you a place to talk or just listen.
The Survivorship Training and Rehabilitation Program, or STAR Program, offers premium oncology rehabilitation services to cancer survivors undergoing treatment or living with its aftermath. Our program is designed to help survivors physically and emotionally heal from the side effects of treatments.
