About our 2016 event

St. John Medical Center hosted the 23rd St. John Street Party outdoor fundraising event on Saturday, June 4, 2017.

More than 1,300 guests enjoyed food tasting from 80 local restaurants, food trucks and caterers, as well as wine tasting from area connoisseurs and live music by two local bands.

Chairs were Meredith Siegfried Madden and Pete Madden, M.D. and honorary chairs were Jono and Jenny Helmerich.

The event’s theme, “Cheers to 90 Years,” celebrated St. John Medical Center’s 90th anniversary.  Table decorations featured photos from St. John’s history. During the event, Richard Boone, outgoing president of the St. John Health System Foundation, offered anniversary remarks and led guests in singing Happy Birthday to St. John.  He also recognized the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother, founders of St. John’s Hospital in 1926, later renamed St. John Medical Center.

Proceeds from Street Party supported St. John cancer services.
